Introduction
Nicky I have always been attracted to dancing. The first style I tried was hip-hop which I learnt for two years. Later on I became familiar with ballroom dancing and discovered the beauty of dancing as a couple. Besides that I had great fun during the courses I made many friends and became obsessive of the rhythm. One Friday night these friends convinced me to try a new „Latino” party place. When I arrived at the party I was absolutely in shock: all around me there were couples doing the dirtiest dance I ever saw… I could feel the sensuality and the joy of this dance which is called: SALSA. From this moment I became an admirer of this wonderful dance and this passion remains 6 years later. I learnt New York salsa on1, Cuban and L.A. salsa from many teachers and with the dance group "Salsa Viva" we had many performances around Hungary. It was the Dominique teacher Franklin Camilo and his wife who acquainted to me with the New York salsa on2 in Eddie Torres style which I find the most sophisticated salsa type where style and elegance meet. |
